The Design Embassy was commissioned to create a digital strategy for Screen Australia that culminated in the complete redesign and reorganisation of their website, in partnership with Twisted Pear. A new information architecture was devised to make it easier to navigate the site, the content was rewritten and a database of Australian productions was reimagined as The Screen Guide. The result is an image-rich website that showcases the strength and diversity of the Australian screen industry.

The Screen Guide is a key feature of Screen Australia’s website.  Building on a large database of productions, companies and screen industry professionals, we dynamically added images and viewing options, and devised ‘showcases’ to explore themed collections. This brought the data to life, allowing users to explore different titles and to quickly find out where they could be viewed online.
